I am going to review some of the books that I read during last year when we were all going through Covid-19 pandemic.

  1. Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High (by Joseph Grenny, Ron McMillan, Al Switzler, Kerry Patterson)

This book is worth reading if you fear confronting a situation where your opinion may differ from your spouse or your colleague, or you love to use this phrase frequently: “this person made me really crazy”. The book will teach you that the difference in opinions is never an issue rather it is natural to have that differences. The problem arises when we can not come a common ground by utilizing things like empathy, creating good stories in our mind before overreacting to high stake situations. I would say this book helped me more in my family life than my professional life.

2. Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! (by Robert T. Kiyosaki)
